Dr. Douglas N. Christiansen was born in Riverside, California and grew up traveling the world as the youngest member of a military family. He received his DDS degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 1982. Following his dental training, he spent 5 years active duty as a dentist in the US Navy. Dr. Christiansen opened his dental practice in San Diego in 1987. His primary focus is in the area of preventive and restorative dentistry. He is active in numerous professional and civic organizations.
